Lactalis A Step Closer to Controlling Skanemejerier
The latest negotiations on the sale of Swedish dairy Skanemejerier to Lactalis revealed that the French group could take control of Skanemejerier from March 2012. This move would not only give Lactalis further milk products brands and access to new markets, it would also reduce its reliance on cheese products, in line with its current strategy.
