Fonterra seeks European joint-venture
Koert Liekelema, the European general manager of Fonterra, the New Zealand dairy giant, expressed an interest in linking with a hard cheese manufacturer. The Fonterra boss added that Ireland, Britain, Holland, Germany, France and Poland had the most scope to expand in a post quota Europe, but that Ireland had more potential than most.
